The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015, with ports for Xbox OnemacOSLinux, and Nintendo Switch being released later on. In June 2016, 505 Games began distributing a physical retail version for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment taking over those duties by the end of 2017.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a 2013 first-person shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is a stand-alone expansion to the 2012 video game Far Cry 3 and the eighth overall installment in the Far Cry franchise. The game, a parody of 1980s action films, cartoons and video games, takes place on a retro-futuristic open world island with players assuming the action role of the military cyborg Sergeant Rex "Power" Colt.
The game was released on 30 April 2013, for PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network and on 1 May 2013, for Microsoft Windows and for Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade. The game received generally positive reviews upon release. The Windows and Xbox 360 versions of the game were available for free on as part of Ubisoft's 30th Birthday Anniversary and Microsoft's Games with Gold program, respectively in November 2016.

DmC: Devil May Cry is an action-adventure hack and slash video game developed by Ninja Theory and published by Capcom for PlayStation 3Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It is the fifth instalment of the Devil May Cryseries, serving as a reboot. Announced in late 2010 during the Tokyo Game Show, the game is set in an alternate reality in the Devil May Cry series.
The game's story focuses on the player character Dante, a young man at the start of his saga. Dante is a Nephilim: half-angel, half-demon. He is partnered with his twin brother, Vergil, and is on a quest to kill the Demon King Mundus, who murdered their mother and condemned their father to banishment. Players can use Dante's iconic sword, Rebellion, and signature handguns, Ebony and Ivory, as well as a variety of other melee weapons and firearms to defeat enemies. The game also introduces Angel Mode and Demon Mode, which are modifiers to Dante's moveset.

Immortal: Unchained blends hardcore Souls-like combat with shooter mechanics.
Immortal: Unchained was announced in August last year, and the idea of Souls mechanics finding their way into a shooter always sounded interesting.
We only had a short teaser to go on at the time, but now, developer Toadman Interactive released a new gameplay trailer for a better look at how shooting and Souls-like combat can work together. Unlike Bloodborne, it seems firearms will be used for more than just parrying.
The typical flow of combat seems to switch between melee at close range and standard shooting at a distance.

It was released for the Wii U as one of its launch games in November 2012. In the game, the player assumes control of a human survivor amid a 2012 zombie apocalypse. Featuring a permadeath system, it uses the Wii U GamePad extensively to scan the environment and maintain the survivor's inventory. ZombiU was released for Microsoft WindowsPlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2015 as Zombi. The port, handled by Straight Right, adds new melee weapons and removes the multiplayer feature.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Hidden Path Entertainment and Valve Corporation. It is the fourth game in the Counter-Strike series and was released for Microsoft WindowsOS XXbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in August 2012, with the Linux version released in September 2014. The game pits two teams against each other: the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists. Both sides are tasked with eliminating the other while also completing separate objectives, the Terrorists, depending on the game mode, must either plant the bomb or defend the hostages, while the Counter-Terrorists must either prevent the bomb from being planted, defuse the bomb, or rescue the hostages. There are eight game modes, all of which have distinct characteristics specific to that mode.

The game received mixed reviews, being praised for its humor and plot elements while being critiqued for lacking gameplay.
